On Sunday, 5 November 2017, in the evening at 20:50, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 37), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene.
