On Monday, 27 June 2022, in the afternoon at 12:58, in Jonavos district municipality, Jadvygavos village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 36.80), a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volvo (15 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. Both drivers were sober.
