On Sunday, 16 July 2017, in the evening at 21:30, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Dusetos–Užpaliai–Vyžuonos regional road (kilometre 5.50), a BMW 320 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
