On Friday, 10 March 2023, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Zarasų district municipality, on K. Būgos street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 405 and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
