On Thursday, 2 November 2017, in the morning at around 10:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 4), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Micra and a Volvo FM12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Nissan (22 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
