On Sunday, 31 December 2017, in the evening at around 17:00, in Plungės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street near No. 78, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.10‰ blood alcohol).
