On Friday, 5 January 2018, in the afternoon at 13:50, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street, at the junction with Europos pr., a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Audi A4 Avant. Two people were injured — a 44-year-old passenger of the Audi A4 Avant (treated as an outpatient) and the 33-year-old driver of the Audi A4 Avant (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Audi A6 (25 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
