On Friday, 26 January 2018, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaunas, on Tvirtovės al., at the junction with Utenos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC90 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
