On Saturday, 17 February 2018, in the morning at 8:10, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl., at the junction with Šilagėlių street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Space Star and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. Two people were injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and a 28-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (less than a year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
