On Friday, 23 February 2018, in the evening at 18:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 304), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Trafic and an Opel Vectra-B. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Renault (38 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
