On Monday, 3 April 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 304), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
