On Saturday, 24 February 2018, in the evening at 22:20, in Klaipėda, on Sulupės street near No. 11A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.27‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
