On Friday, 2 March 2018, in the evening at 20:15, in Marijampolės municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 132.90), a Mazda 6 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
