On Saturday, 3 March 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 39, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda MPV and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Mazda (28 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
