On Monday, 12 March 2018, in the morning at 10:24, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a BMW 118D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Ford (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
