On Tuesday, 13 March 2018, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Marijampolės municipality, on J. Ambrazevičiaus-Brazaičio street near No. 76, at the junction with Vilkaviškio street, a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 15-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
