On Thursday, 15 March 2018, in the morning at 9:40, in Panevėžio district municipality, Berčiūnų village, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 7), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco 35C18 and a Renault Laguna. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Iveco (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
