On Monday, 19 March 2018, in the afternoon at 15:11, in Kaunas, on Kaunakiemio street near No. 34, at the junction with Karo Ligoninės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Skoda Superb registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
