On Tuesday, 20 March 2018, in the afternoon at 13:51, in Vilniaus city municipality, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a BMW 318i. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
