On Thursday, 29 March 2018, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 116, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Forester and a Volkswagen Tiguan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Subaru (42 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
