On Saturday, 31 March 2018, in the evening at 19:08, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žemaitės al., at the junction with Šventosios street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Doblo registered in Spain, an Opel Astra and a Subaru Forester. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Fiat (24 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. All drivers were sober.
