On Tuesday, 10 April 2018, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaunas, on Birštono street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volkswagen LT 35, a BMW 320D and an Aprilia. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
