On Thursday, 26 July 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Birštono street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a bicycle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 19-year-old cyclist, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
