On Sunday, 25 February 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vaišvydava–Piliuona–Pakuonis–Pabališkiai regional road (kilometre 5.52), a BMW 320D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
