On Saturday, 28 April 2018, in the morning at around 9:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Gargždai–Kretinga national road (kilometre 2), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
