On Monday, 7 May 2018, in the morning at around 9:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on Maironio street near No. 5, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a Volvo V50. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Volvo V70 (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
