On Saturday, 28 October 2023, in the afternoon at 15:09, in Raseinių district municipality, on Maironio street, at the junction with Algirdo street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a KTM and an Opel Zafira. Two people were injured — a 16-year-old passenger of the KTM (hospitalized) and the 16-year-old driver of the KTM (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
