On Wednesday, 9 May 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on Vokiečių street near No. 30, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda HR-V and a Volkswagen Crafter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Honda (4 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
