On Sunday, 13 May 2018, in the evening at 20:23, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Užventis–Šaukėnai–Kuršėnai national road (kilometre 4.35), on a bridge, a Suzuki SV 650 rolled over. Two people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the Suzuki (severely injured, hospitalized) and a 35-year-old passenger of the Suzuki (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Suzuki (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
