On Thursday, 10 May 2018, in the evening at 19:15, in Šilalės district municipality, Bytlaukio village, on Kaltinėnų street, an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.55‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
