On Thursday, 24 May 2018, in the morning at 10:40, in Plungės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street near No. 1, at the junction with Dariaus ir Girėno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Moskvich 2140 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Moskvich (36 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
