On Friday, 25 May 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno street near No. 50A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Mazda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Opel (37 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
