On Saturday, 2 June 2018, in the evening at 19:04, in Kauno district municipality, Pabiržio village, on Šaltinio street, at the junction with Šermukšnių street, a Honda Civic hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Honda (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.68‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
