On Saturday, 16 June 2018, in the evening at 19:50, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Partizanų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen LT 28. Three people were injured — a 72-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient), the 65-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 46-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (hospitalized).
