On Sunday, 24 June 2018, in the morning at 8:25, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 72.50), a BMW M6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
