On Friday, 10 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Mituvos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Punto, an Opel Astra, a BMW and an Opel Frontera B. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Fiat (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
