On Sunday, 12 August 2018, at night at 23:45, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Rumšiškės–Pravieniškės II regional road (kilometre 2.01), an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
