On Thursday, 6 September 2018, in the afternoon at 16:59, in Kaunas, on R. Kalantos street, at the junction with Naglio street, an Audi A4 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 72-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
