On Sunday, 9 September 2018, in the evening at 21:52, in Vilnius, on Galvės street, at the junction with Leipalingio street, a Ford Focus hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
