On Monday, 17 September 2018, in the afternoon at 11:49, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, an Opel Vectra Station Wagon, a car and a Nissan Qashqai. Two people were injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and the 32-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. All drivers were sober.
