On Wednesday, 26 September 2018, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street, at the junction with Algirdo street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Combo and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Opel Combo (19 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
