On Saturday, 6 October 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Vytauto Landsbergio-Žemkalnio street, at the junction with Ligoninės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel, who was driving a vehicle with faults the traffic rules prohibit driving with. He was drunk (1.23‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
