On Sunday, 14 October 2018, in the afternoon at 14:55, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 33), a Honda Civic rolled over. Two people were injured — a 16-year-old passenger of the Honda (hospitalized) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Honda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Honda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
