On Saturday, 20 October 2018, in the morning at 6:11, in Tauragės district municipality, on T. Ivanausko street near No. 44, a Volvo V70 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volvo (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
