On Sunday, 21 October 2018, at night at 3:55, in Klaipėda, on Laukininkų street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Classe E, a Subaru Forester, an Opel Frontera, a Volkswagen Passat, a BMW 530 D, a Toyota Auris and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.01‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
