On Saturday, 21 October 2023, in the afternoon at 14:28, in Klaipėda, on Laukininkų street near No. 15A, a Skoda Yeti hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 35-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 35-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol).
