On Wednesday, 31 October 2018, in the evening at 22:06, in Vilnius, on Švitrigailos street near No. 4, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Boxer registered in Belarus and a Volvo 7700. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.88‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
