On Wednesday, 31 October 2018, in the evening at 22:46, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Raubonys national road (kilometre 11.65), a Volkswagen Phaeton hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who was walking at night without reflectors (light, hi-vis vest). He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
