On Saturday, 10 November 2018, in the morning at 8:29, in Jonavos district municipality, Spanėnų village, on Plento street near No. 46, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations. She was drunk (2.96‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 35-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz was drunk (2.59‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
