On Sunday, 18 November 2018, at night at 1:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 3.55), a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 29-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized) and the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient).
